- NZISM Updates
The New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) has been updated to include new guidance on Network Design, Architecture & IP Address Management (Section 10.8); Ribbon Fibre Optic Cable (Section 10.1); Patch Panels & Patch Cables (Section 10.6); and Approved Destruction Facilities (Section 13.6). It also includes updates to Protective Security Requirements(external link) (PSR) reference tables to reflect recent changes to PSR Manadatory Controls.
As this is our first release on the new digital platform we are moving to version 3.0.
The July 2018 NZISM v3.0(external link) updates the previous edition NZISM v2.7 which was published in December 2017.
All new materials and amendments are designed to simplify approaches while maintaining existing levels of governance and assurance.
