The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is aware that people have received scam calls from a number that appears as (04) 498 7654, which is the NCSC Incidents line.
The NCSC does not generally initiate unsolicited contact via this number and recommends the calls are not answered or called back. If you do pick up a call, do not follow the caller's instructions.
We respond to cyber security incidents of potential national significance. You can call or email us to discuss a cyber security incident and request support. You’ll also need to fill out one of the forms below.
