Report an incident and request support

We respond to cyber security incidents of potential national significance. You can call or email us to discuss a cyber security incident and request support. You’ll also need to fill out one of the forms below.

Phone (04) 498 7654 for immediate support, or if the incident occurs outside business hours.

Email incidents@ncsc.govt.nz for non-urgent incidents.

We will assess requests for assistance and offer tailored support where possible, based on the impact and national significance of an incident.

If you’re not sure what to do, please call or email us. If the incident is outside our area of responsibility, we can refer your enquiry to the most appropriate organisation.

If you’d like to report an incident and you do not need support, please fill out the form below and email it to us. Reporting incidents helps us understand and monitor the threat environment in New Zealand and support other nationally significant organisations who may be dealing with similar incidents.
